Eva Hsu (99/SC/Primary Education; 08/GS/School Improvement and Leadership) and her eldest son Marvin Hsu (24/YS/Law) share a unique double connection as CUHK alumni.
Eva fondly recalls her university days – burying herself in books at the library, swimming, and later diving into martial arts and stargazing. For Marvin, although his undergraduate years coincided with the pandemic, departmental programmes still brought vibrant experiences. He is now pursuing a PCLL at the CUHK, ready to embark on his legal career.
“Luckily, I often brought him to CUHK to enjoy carefree days when he was little, so he knows all my friends here,” Eva says with a smile. These shared memories, woven through their alma mater, have brought mother and son even closer.
