11. How can I log in to my Alumni @Link Email Account?

Alumni can log in at https://www.cuhk.edu.hk/o365.
Login ID: “Alumni ID”@link.cuhk.edu.hk (e.g. 1012345678@link.cuhk.edu.hk)
Password: MyCUHK Password (OnePass Password)

13. I have already completed all the required courses. Am I a “graduate” of the University? Can I apply for the alumni library services?

Once the graduation status of CUHK students has been approved by the Senate of the University, the students are considered graduates of the University and may apply for alumni library services through MyCUHK. For undergraduates, normally the graduation list of the year will be confirmed by the Senate in mid-March (for first-term graduates) or mid-August (for second-term graduates).
For postgraduate students, the graduation list will be approved by the Senate in batches throughout the year. Students may check with the Registration and Examinations Section of the Registry if necessary (email: ugadmin@cuhk.edu.hk) or check with the Graduate School Office (email: gradschool@cuhk.edu.hk).

14. Can I change my @Link email account alias (“name”@link.cuhk.edu.hk)?

Alumni can choose a permanent email alias during application, which cannot be changed after the account is set up.

16. Measures to Campus Access Control

With the approval of the Administrative and Planning Committee (AAPC), and in line with the practices of other local universities, the University has implemented new procedures to improve the efficiency of campus access control measures with effect from 30 August 2021. Holders of CULinks and CUHK Library Cards are required to validate their smartcards at the card reading devices upon entry into campus.

CUHK Alumni who are holders of “CU Alumni Credit Card” could continue to present their valid CUHK Alumni Credit Cards at campus entry points in order to gain entry into campus. Where necessary, credit card holders might be requested to produce their HKIDs for verification of identity. All other visitors who cannot provide the CUHK-related documents above are required to register their HKIDs, etc, at campus entry points in order to gain entry into campus. The University reserves the right to refuse any visitors to the campus if circumstances require.

17. My full English name is shown as the “Sender Name” of my @Link email account. Can I change it?

According to the Information Technology Services Centre’s policy, the default “Sender Name” of the @Link email account is the user’s full English name registered with the University, which cannot be changed in the email account settings.

Your application is complete. Alumni may log in to the email 1 working day after a successful application at https://www.cuhk.edu.hk/o365.

19. What are the alumni bodies which alumni can join?

All degree graduates will automatically become members of the “CUHK Convocation”. For the objectives and activities of the “CUHK Convocation”, please visit the CUHK Convocation webpage.
To enhance the connection among alumni of different Colleges and Schools, the Federation of Alumni Associations of CUHK (FAA) is set up, consisting of the Alumni Associations of Chung Chi College, New Asia College, United College, Shaw College and the School of Education, etc. as basic members and the Alumni Association of the Part-time Degree Programme as an affiliate member. Members of any of the above Alumni Associations are also members of the FAA. Please visit the FAA webpage for details.
Currently, there are over 100 CU alumni associations established in Hong Kong, Mainland China and other parts of the world. They are organized by college, major, profession or interest, together forming a CUHK alumni network worldwide. New alumni are welcome to join associations of their interest and take part in their activities. Through participation, you will be able to maintain connections with fellow classmates and alumni, and expand your personal network for further development.
