Since October 2010, every alumnus has been assigned with a 10-digit Alumni ID. For those who graduated after October 2010, their original 10-digit student ID automatically becomes their Alumni ID.
Alumni ID is an important identification number and will be widely used in the University’s online systems requiring authentication, including the MyCUHK online platform. When a CUHK graduate pursues another degree at the University, his/her Alumni ID will also serve as their Student ID.
The Alumni Affairs Office assigned Alumni IDs to all alumni recorded in its database in 2010. Alumni who did not receive notification may retrieve their ID through the MyCUHK online platform (please visit here for more details). For graduates after October 2010, their original 10-digit student ID automatically serves as their Alumni ID.
