Alumnus Martin Xu (02/SC/Economics) was among the first batch of top Mainland students to pursue studies in Hong Kong. Currently serving as General Manager of Chinese Mainland, Commercial and Operations at Cathay Pacific, Martin believes that HK aviation and logistic industry still holds significant competitive advantages “HK’s geographical location is unmatched— within just five hours, you can reach half of the world’s population. Combined with its status as a tax-free free port, no other place can easily replicate these strengths. On top of that, HK airlines and freight forwarders are highly professional.
