Parting and death are among life’s greatest sorrows. Amy Chow (89/CC/Social Work) has dedicated her thirty-year career to alleviate the negative impact of death. She began by focusing on bereavement counselling, helping the bereaved work through their pain and negative emotions. Later, she realized that communications between patients and their families in their final days, and minimizing regrets while there is still time, is a crucial part of end-of-life care. This understanding has become a powerful driving force behind her commitment to providing supportive care for those facing the critical stage of life.
